Often after an illness, injury or trauma, time is spent immobilized or activity is significantly reduced while we heal from an injury. As a result, global weakness can occur and you can have difficulty performing every day tasks including walking, lifting, navigating stairs, or getting in and out of a chair. Physical therapy can help you safely regain strength to enable you to perform the day to day activities you need to take care of yourself or return to work and get back to your leisurely tasks.
